Thanks, Dormeo. Yes, the doctor said that she prescribes ResMed machines. I mentioned that I chose the AirSense 10 instead of the 11, and she was familiar with the advantages of the 10. Not sure which Aircurve she specified, but I'm sure I can get the one I prefer.
There is someone from the DME who works in the sleep clinic. After deciding to prescribe the BiPAP, the doctor went out to this person's office to put in the order, but she was not working that day. So I'm sure that this will go smoothly. It will be an exchange, because I am still in the rental period for the AirSense (got it in April, but my insurance company doesn't pay until after the compliance period has passed, so the rental period started in July) - hope that doesn't hold things up.
