RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
If you can find an AirCurve10 ASV with FCC ID 2ACHL-AIR104G you will have the latest modem available.
They may be easier to find than an AS11 ASV,
In the meanwhile, the latest version of OSCAR has many improvements over SleepyHead, and is easier to use than ResScan.
RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
Well, I am the original posting party. I took the advice of my doctor and members of this blog, and bought another S10 ASV. Had no trouble getting prompt delivery of the new machine. But I had to switch to a new DMS. It works great and I am getting pretty good scores. The S10 is a proven, durable machine.
My trouble in getting consistent low scores lies with my mask. I stopped using the Resmed F20 mask because of the red whelps across the bridge of my nose. I then switched to the F30. I like the F30, but have a big problem with leaks. Also, the top strap rubs the top of my earlobe. I can live with the strap problem, but the leaks keep raising my events. For the life of me, I do not know who to adjust this mask to solve the leakage problem. My events range from 0.5 to 9.4, depending on the level of leakage. In spite of that, I am just not ready to go back to red whelps in the morning.
RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
I have been using an Aircurve 10 for 4 years. It has been acting up lately so I went shopping for a new one (I'm self pay).
Found a new one, in stock, at
[DME Link Removed] The CPAP Shop. on sale for $1776 (used to be about $2500 MSRP) and with a discount code of AIRCURVE, the price dropped by $477. I suspect they are reducing inventory in advance of the Aircurve 11. With tax it was $1293, free shipping. .
Don't know if the discount is still good but its worth looking at.

Great tip Traveler. It might be good to post this as a deal in the commercial posts forum.
RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
Been checking every week for release of aircurve 11 — still no sign after all these months! Nuts!
RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
Why wait for the Aircurve 11? Smaller motor designed for the Air Mini. Lots of reasons I would want the 10 series on something like the ASV. You don't actually think a newer model means better therapy, right?
RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
The AirCurve series encompasses the S, VAuto, ASV, ST, and the ST-A. I don't see the current 11 series design as having the needed horsepower for these models.

RE: Waiting for ResMed S11 AirCurve ASV
Wow really? I thought it was mostly cosmetic (touchscreen vs not, slightly different shape, etc) vs a smaller motor….I don’t think it is better therapy but I do like getting “the latest” (it’s a silly bias of mine.). My 10 asv is about 7 years in now and the cell data connection has gone obsolete.
