Nose oil leakage
Hi!
At least once or twice a night I have to wake to wipe my nasal mask due to leakage caused by oily nose secretions... Is there a trick to prevent nose oil? Help! Thanks!
RE: Nose oil leakage
I have oily skin and I when I wore a FFM I had to clean it daily. I switched to a P10 and no longer had the problem. You can try a product for oily skin. Possibly some sort of acne cleaner. You can try something like a bandaid on the area you have an issue to "pad" the nose to mask. You may also try a mask liner from Supplier #31
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.
I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data! Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle.

RE: Nose oil leakage
I have the same problem. Washing your face with an astringent before sleep helps to remove a lot of the oil. I have some alcohol free baby wipes that I use on my face and the mask in the middle of the night. They clean off the oil and make your skin and the mask slightly sticky which prevents leaks (for a while) and lets you quickly get back to sleep. And, of course, wash the mask seal with dish soap each day. Nasal pillow like the P10 will avoid the problem.

RE: Nose oil leakage
You could try a Pad-a-cheek mask liner.
Don't use any product like acne scrub, alcohol, strong soap. The chemicals will destroy the cushion on your mask. I got mask wipes with a purchase from Supplier #1 for a grand total of $.01 for 30. I'll never not use mask wipes again! I can quickly clean surfaces (I think they would be mild enough for the skin surface, too) and renew the grip!

RE: Nose oil leakage
I also have oily skin and I wash my face with sensitive skin soap before bed, and then I apply witch hazel to a cotton ball and wipe my nose. It works for me but we are all different. I have also used alcohol free baby wipes as was mentioned in one of the posts above mine. It also works very well and is mild to the skin.
