teddytheanimal - Therapy Thread
Would be really thankful if someone could give me some tips and advice here. Have been a CPAP user for a month or so and my doc hasn't been too helpful (appointment is 4 months away). Doc set the pressure to 5-10 APAP with ramp on. I then notice my feeling more comfortable with full EPR at 3 so then increased my pressure to 7 to 12. Currently have Ramp at 20 mins I tried auto too. Based on the charts is there anything I can improve? The only issue is in the morning I feel like the mask becomes rather uncomfortable and find myself taking it off. The most I have used the CPAP is for almost 6 hrs even though I sleep a bit more. I have a feeling that my settings can be improved.

RE: Not sure what I'm doing wrong, new to the cpap world
You will get more response if you use OSCAR.  It is downloaded from the top of the site and is totally free tp download and use.  The only thing you will need to supply is a SD card.  It needs to be 32GB or less. The card must be in the machine when you sleep...

From what I can see everything is set up pretty well.  You still have some flow limits and snoring.  To help with that move the min and max up 1.

Pressure/Setting Improvements?

Should I change the pressure to make it even more comfortable/effective?

** I had a post earlier but without the Oscar data **

RE: teddytheanimal - Therapy Thread
teddytheanimal - Since both your threads were related to your therapy.  For this reason, I have merged them.  This provides the reader a history of your past settings and results.  Having the ability to see past attempts and their results will help to form better recommendations.  Please use this thread for all your therapy related posts. I have changed the thread title to, "teddytheanimal - Therapy Thread" to be more inclusive.

Now to your data.  I would raise the minimum to 8 leaving the max where it is.  Also, turn off the ramp.  It is just delaying your therapy pressure range.  Your AHI is low enough where you start adjusting for comfort.
