OSCAR 1.5.3
When I fired up OSCAR this morning, it wanted me to add a data file. I tried to do that, but it failed (probably my fault). So, I tried to load the new version from the OSCAR page. It replaced what I had, but now it will not open. Any help will be appreciated.
I get the Apple error message: “OSCAR.app” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

RE: OSCAR 1.5.3
Think this is to do with OSCAR not being on Apple's 'approved' developer list (small or specialist developers generally won't on 'the' list...) But this security can be overridden.
Firstly, make sure you have downloaded a genuine copy of the OSCAR app (i.e from the link at the top of Apnea Board). Might also be worth running the checksum on the downloaded file too. To override the security block that Apple has put in place (on the later macOS's). Go to System Settings > Privacy and Security > look for the OSCAR app > click Open Anyway Alternatively Control+Click-ing on the OSCAR app, then clicking Open should have the same effect. You should then be able to open the app without any problems in future, as it will have saved OSCAR as an exception in your security settings Earlier versions of macOS, have a slightly different set of steps - but all from within System Settings > Privacy and Security > General… Unfortunately I can’t remember all the steps needed on these earlier versions, so you might have to hunt around to find the exact steps.

Control-click didn't work, but going into Privacy and Security did. Thanks so much!
