It shouldn't be trying to create the SD card... Have you created the data folder - usually /home/.../Documents/OSCAR_Data ?
Of course, you probably don't have any SleepyHead data to copy over, but you have to create a data folder so OSCAR can store its database and backup files. Then you have to create a Profile. Also unless you gave Linux a hughe disk allocation, you should go into Preferences and tell it not to import before some date that will give you a month or two or three of history.
Oops. I just re-read the thread, and I see you have the profile, so ignore all that.
would you go to Help -> Troubleshooting -> Create zip of OSCAR diagnostic logs to zip up the diagnostic pane content and upload it to Guy's Dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/request/REp6AH7LCGyeOcXfOokH
Include your username in the zip filename so we can know what to look for. Thanks
