OSCAR Time Zone problems
HI! I'm new to this board and new to OSCAR. I've only been using it a week. I also am only on my 7th month of using an APAP so I am still pretty new to all the apnea stuff.
My problem is software/tech related in using my OSCAR software. I have entered in my time zone as Pacific Time GMT-08:00 because I live in the Pacific Northwest. This is always the correct timezone for me.
So why is all my data moved up an hour? Meaning if I start my machine at 10 pm the graph shows it as 23:00 (11 pm). And if I stop it at 6 am the OSCAR graph shows it as 7 am. I even tried changing the time zone to be back one hour and it still changed nothing.
I guess I can do the math in my head every time I look at a graph but that's annoying and I keep forgetting to move everything back an hour when I am evaluating my sleep.
WHat am I doing wrong in the settings?

possibly the difference between daylight savings time & std time? is your machine's clock set to the right time?

Oh I don't know! I just checked and I don't see a menu where I can access that. Then I checked these boards for posts about changing the timezone and it looks like I have to access the clinician section. Not sure I should do that since it could mess up the data for my medical device company. Also some people said they needed to reset their SD cards or something which would not be good since I need to bring that into my every 3 month appts.
I guess I'll just deal with the discrepancy.
Thanks anyway!
RE: OSCAR Time Zone problems
properly changing time won't mess anything up. the sd card has nothing to do with it. it is a pain to move time back more than an hour or two at a time but you can easily set it back an hour after 1pm on the machine as long as you haven't used the machine after noon machine time. if you are not comfortable with clinician's menu to do this you can ask your doctor's staff or durable medical equipment provider (or friend, child, grandchild) to do it.

Hi jmic -
Have you checked the time on your Resmed? That is where OSCAR is obtaining the session times, not from your PC.

Thanks everyone! I finally went ahead and just changed it in the clinician's menu.

Congrats on doing it yourself!
