If I use a new SD card, will it simply add new data to my OSCAR file, or is there a risk of deleting/corrupting existing OSCAR data? I have a Mac. There have recently been two nights (separated briefly in time) when OSCAR imports no data (not even a summary), even though the SD card was in the CPAP all night and unlocked, and I used the machine. The OSCAR data seems to indicate I did not use the machine, even though I did. The summary does not appear on subsequent days either – there is just a hole for that day. I'm not sure whether the problem lies with the machine, the card, or me. I would think a new card would be no problem, but better, in this case, to ask first. Thanks, k888

new SD card?
Greetings,
If I use a new SD card, will it simply add new data to my OSCAR file, or is there a risk of deleting/corrupting existing OSCAR data? I have a Mac. There have recently been two nights (separated briefly in time) when OSCAR imports no data (not even a summary), even though the SD card was in the CPAP all night and unlocked, and I used the machine. The OSCAR data seems to indicate I did not use the machine, even though I did. The summary does not appear on subsequent days either – there is just a hole for that day. I'm not sure whether the problem lies with the machine, the card, or me. I would think a new card would be no problem, but better, in this case, to ask first. Thanks, k888

RE: new SD card?
Data is always appended to existing data in OSCAR. The Mac can be a problem child regarding allowing an app the permission to use removable devices. This can occur after a system update.

RE: new SD card?
Thank you Crimson Nape. I will use the new card. I did just double check and OSCAR has full permission to access the desktop/documents/removable volumes. I do tend to stick the card in before starting up my computer. Maybe I will wait until everything has started up. Fingers crossed it will all work. I have gotten used to all the data and feel cheated when it does not appear. k888
