Oscar installed but not starting on Ubuntu 22.04

I installed Ubuntu on my system (22.04) following the instructions on the installation page for 1.5.3. My system is a Ryzen5 64 system. I followed the related instructions given to another member who was trying to install on Ubuntu 22.04 but with no success. I also followed the instructions on the Linux instruction page [url=https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=OSCAR_Installation:_Linux][/url]related to Ubuntu.No effect there.

The link is in the list of programs and a wheel turns, but it never starts.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with no effect.

Any ideas?

Open a terminal and try starting it from there, This will provide more information. At the prompt, enter "OSCAR".

Hi! Thanks again for your response. I wasn't able to get it to work on Ubuntu. I tried to start if from the command line but it wouldn't start. I installed it on my Windows laptop and it worked like a charm. Thank you!

Try running the following code and see if OSCAR will run afterward. Just copy and paste it in a terminal window.

sudo apt install -y libdouble-conversion3 libpcre16-3 qttranslations5-l10n libqt5core5a libqt5serialport5 libqt5xml5 libqt5network5 libqt5gui5 libqt5widgets5 libqt5opengl5 libqt5printsupport5 libglu1-mesa libgl1 libc6

This will install any missing dependencies and skip over the ones already on your system.
