Oscar reported machine first use date.

Oscar reported machine first use date.
My DME delivered my Dreamstation on Dec 21 2016.  But my OSCAR report says it's first use was Nov 27 2020.  (BTW the serial numbers match between the delivery document and the OSCAR report)

Normally I wouldn't care, however I've changed DME and am looking forward to having Medicare cover a new machine after I have five years use.

How does/did this happen?  Is there a correction?

Where are you seeing "first use" in Oscar. I don't think that data is reported, but your machine probably has a first use date. Perhaps your Oscar data only starts at 11/27/20?

RE: Oscar reported machine first use date.
attached is a snippet from my OSCAR Statistics page:

Blower hours (shown on device's screen) is 12,278

OSCAR was installed on my new computer two months ago, and the SD card was low-level formatted 30 days ago.

I don’t see that is a problem. You are entitled to your medical records. Ask the supplier for your records, it will show when you got your machine.

My guess is that the machine has retained 11 months of summary data and wrote it to your empty SD card, although I'm not familiar with P-R machines.

RE: Oscar reported machine first use date.
My original machine had almost 4 years of data on the SD card and shows first use in 2017. My used ASV machine shows the first use date as the date of the data reset on its own SD card. The machine reset blower time and compliance data to 0, but left the machine hours at the original value since new. OSCAR has the data from both machines combined now as there was no overlap on the usage data.
