Oscar wants password

Oscar wants me to enter password to access my profile. I don't recall using a password before, and I have no idea what it would be. Is there a way to get a new password without knowing the current one?

Using a text editor, open the Profile.xml file in your user profile directory, located in the OSCAR_Data directory.  
- Search for "Password"  
- Delete all text between the <Password type="QString"> and </Password>.  
- When finished, the line should look like this:
 <Password type="QString"></Password>.  
- Save the file and then try running OSCAR.

That is in your OSCAR_Data root directory.  Go into The OSCAR_Data\Profiles\Your Username\Profile.xml.

You have 2 closely named profiles there, sport. The one you are pointing out in the screenshot was last accessed back in April 23, 2024. However, if you go do down to the Kathleen Derevan, it was accessed today. That is the Profile.xml to edit.

I made a new profile today as Kathleen because I can’t sign into Oscar with my previous longstanding profile. So now I have lost years of data that exists on the original account.

Have you tried editing the Profile.xml file in your other account?

Yes. That profile is identical to the Kathi one except for the name. No reference to a password in it.
