PR Dreamstation BiPAP Auto

RE: PR Dreamstation BiPAP Auto
I have two days of data, I know not much to go on, and I used a different setting for the second night. Where do I post my data for others to see? In screenshots?

Based on that one chart I'd say your numbers are great.

Okay good I will continue on with these settings for the next couple of weeks to evaluate.  I'm looking to get a full face mask though do you have any suggestions on what is the most comfortable?  Can you recommend any hybrid masks because I really like the nasal pillows because they don't leak or they don't seem to leak.

RE: PR Dreamstation BiPAP Auto
You had no central apnea events. I would think if that was going to be an issue it would have shown up with your fairly high pressure support settings. It appears your settings were changed after 5:30. It's hard to see what would cause a steady EPAP of about 12 and IPAP of 16, but it seems to have worked fine. I don't see any concerns that need to be addressed here, and as you gain more experience and data we can continue to review and see if anything would help. Looks good for now.

Don't know about the Hybrid's. The Resmed F20 Full Face Mask is popular. Read the Mask Primer below and also read some of the Mask reviews here. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Forum-C...sk-Reviews

Thank you for your comment, yes I was playing with the settings back and forth trying to find something comfortable yet something that would perform well enough to reduce events throughout the night. One thing for sure is I had my mask way too tight the first night and my nose is hurting today because of it.  Does anybody have any experience with the following mask?

It looks really interesting but I'm worried about leakage if I sleep on my side.

RE: PR Dreamstation BiPAP Auto
So I'm 5 nights in with 100% compliance which to me was the hardest part.  Day 3 was the worst with me not being able to keep my mouth closed.  I slept so little I actually called in sick to work.  However here's a look at my first 5 days.  I think once I get my full face mask (should be here tomorrow) the comfort should improve and I will actually get a bit more sleep as I find I'm not actually sleeping very well getting used to using the machine.

Thank you for the encouragement, It feels like there's a light I can see at the end of my tunnel for getting my therapy in order.  In hindsight I most likely could have gone with an auto cpap machine instead of the bipap auto but I like this machine and the options is provides.
