RE: CHIN STRAP
Everyone seems to recommend the ruby chinstrap.

RE: CHIN STRAP
I've used the Ruby look-a-like, and Resmed's idea of a good time chinstrap. They're both a little heavy for my taste. Jimzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz recommended the "Carefusion Puresom Ultra" chinstrap to me, and it's the one I have adopted. It's a single band chinstrap but stays on just fine. It's lightweight so I don't feel like I'm wearing a football helmet. And the puppies love stealing it from me and playing tug of war with it. I wear it under my P10 pillows mask and both the pillows mask and chinstrap stay put very nicely.

RE: CHIN STRAP
Hi boomba018,
WELCOME! to the forum.! Right now, I'm using the Ruby chinstrap but I'm not sure if that's my final one, I have tried quite a few. I continue to look for the one that works for me and you will have to do that as well, just keep trying 'till you find what works for you. Hang in there for more suggestions and best of luck to you with your CPAP therapy.

I recommend that you start by making your own. You may discover that a home-made chin strap actually works better than the ones that are commercially available. Go to a fabric store and ask for some elastic for a waistband, about 1 1/2 inches or 3-4 cm wide. A yard should cost $3 to $6 or so. Now all you need is a pair of scissors and a safety pin (diaper pins are actually better, if you have one). Cut it to a length so that it is reasonably tight, but not to the point where it is hard to slide on and off. The top part should rest right where the top of your head starts to slope down to the back. It's cheap and fast. If it doesn't work you're out only a few bucks.

RE: CHIN STRAP
I tried the fake Ruby and hated it. The seam in the chin cup (which doesn't show in any of the images!) was a pain in the...chin. Right now I use the PapCap by Pur-Sleep.
