Finally a Resmed user!!! Need Help!!! :)
Hi everyone! I hope you are all having an amazing day. I finally made the switch from Phillips to Resmed and I wish I would've sooner. The Airsense 10 Card to Cloud is the model I purchased, and I have been using it for three days now. The quality is great compared to my Dreamstation 1 and 2 that I have owned. My AHI seems to be far better too. The only thing is that the pressure gets very high in the middle of the night close to 12cm, this causes me to wake up due to air burps and my cheeks swelling up. If anyone has the time and would not mind taking a look at my therapy data to see if I can fine tune it I would greatly appreciate it! I have attached the files below!!

Good job so far, but one thing... where we see flow limitation, we usually see Hypopnea and Reras. It may help if you introduce use of EPR.
In order to see the benefit of EPR, the minimum pressure must be a bit higher. Suggestions: Minimum pressure set to 7cm. Maximum pressure set to 10cm. (If you still experience air burps and cheek puffing, we can lower the max a bit more). EPR set to 2 (full time) I think you will find this more comfortable.

Almost certainly REM-related flow limits. Could be positional or simply relaxation of the musculature surrounding the airway causing partial collapse. One of the things that's great about your ResMed machine is that it responds to these partial obstructions. What's not so great is that it's doing enough of a response to disturb your sleep. I think the settings above are a great place to start, and if you're still having problems we can dive into some more detailed stuff.

Hi guys,
I tweaked my settings using your recommendations and still unfortunately seem to be struggling with my sleep. I wake up frequently throughout the night and still feel fatigued in the morning. I also still experience burping on occasion. I am not sure what to do next. Please if you could reanalzye my data and let me know any other recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

It seems that you are experiencing Aerophagia (the swallowing of air), when the pressure rises.
Lowering the pressure and titrating back up slowly will help us find a better therapy pressure. The use of EPR will also help. Let's take your therapy to a (static pressure). This should help with the Aerophagia. Keep the Auto Mode, but use 7cm minimum and 7cm maximum. Set EPR to 2 (full time). Try this for a night and we'll reevaluate.
