CPAP User for 1 year, can rarely manage to keep it on for 3+ hours
Hey everyone,

First time posting here. First time using oscar actually to analyze my data.

The main issue i have is that it's really tough for me to keep my mask on for over 3 hours.

I'm using a ResMed 11 with these settings:

- AutoSet on
- Pressure range: 8-10
- Ramp time: off
- EPR on, full-time
- EPR level: 3

I use nasal pillows as my mask (Resmed Airfit P10).

I've attached my charts from oscar for the past 3 nights. Is there anything that looks off?

Thanks!!

First, it appears you are operating near the top of your pressure range and might consider re-titrating at a higher upper pressure.

Two, have you considered changing to a nasal or full-face mask, as pillows at higher pressures can produce some discomfort?

I am sure other forum members will provide additional commentary.

You are having a lot of leaks.  Here are some tips to help lower the leaks:

pulling the mask off is usually pressure related. i can't use any mask that goes in the nose because of deviated septum. when i try to use it my results are similar to yours. if your problem is septum related the nose things are just not going to work. if the problem is pressure you simply lower your pressure to something you can sleep all night with comfortably. after you get comfortable with the lower pressure gradually raise the pressure over time and you'll find yourself at the higher target pressure in no time. i went through the pressure problem for years with an old school doctor. when i switched doctors he told me about lowering the pressure and gradually raising it and i have been 1005 compliant ever since.

I suggest you change your pressure settings to 9 to 14. Your median pressure is above 9 and you are bumping against your top pressure setting and need more headroom.

A few questions. Do you take your mask off in your sleep or while you're awake? And does your mask feel uncomfortable? If yes, in what way?
