Any tips or tricks for daytime fatigue?
Hi y'all! I'm new to board and new to my CPAP machine (ResMed Airsense 10). For the past 20 years or so, I've been a terrible sleeper. 3-5 hours per night with snoring and have always felt like a zombie. After my home test and in-lab titration study, my sleep doc prescribed a pressure of 6cm...on my Resmed, I have it on auto with 6-20cm. Now, I do feel more mentally sharp, and my brain fogginess is relatively gone (I can't believe it!). But I still have some daytime somnolence. Pretty much around 3PM - 5PM...some days I can power through it, but others, I have to sleep for an hour or two...I've only been on the CPAP therapy for 10 days, and I'm sure giving it time and being consistent is probably the key here, but I was wondering if anyone else had this resolve for them. Thanks so much, and really thanks for everyone that continues to contribute to this forum. I've been a long time lurker and finally took the plunge as I turned 40 and want to be more awake and alert!
I've attached my OSCAR readings for the past two nights...I took EPR off as I felt terrible after trying it...my AHI during my sleep study was 25.6 one night and 6.7 the next night. I'm a side sleeper.
