PrismaTS software: Interpreting graphs, where to find education?
#1
Question
PrismaTS software: Interpreting graphs, where to find education?
Hi
new in this apnea-world, but with a technical background, I have downloaded the PrismaTS software for my Löwenstein Prisma APAP machine.

Loading data from the SD-card gives fantastic graphs, and a wealth of information, but I have not been able to find any educational material
which explains all of the parameters.

The normal patient interface (APP) reports no problems for my nights, but the Prisma TS software for professionals provides much more info to digest for an amateur user such as me....
For example: How long lasting is an acceptable apnea incident during an APAP treatment, and is an "epoch with severe obstruction" lasting two minutes OK....how often?

I am seeking articles, books etc, which can help me interpret the graphs, please....would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Thank you in advance, and best regards from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Henrik

RE: PrismaTS software: Interpreting graphs, where to find education?
Hi Henrikc,
The "Prisma Journal" can be found in our Private Files and Links Forum.

http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Forum-P...-and-Links

Look under "Normal Threads" (about 6 threads down), click on it and go to Post #3 to download the Prisma Journal.

I'm not sure if this will answer your questions, but may be helpful either way.

You are welcome to post your graphs and charts in the Main Forum, as general questions concerning length of apneas and such probably apply regardless of which machine you use.
