Sleepyhead Win 7 .dll error

High folks! Long time no see but feeling so much better after a year on CPAP I amd trying to make up for lost time in my life.

Trying to install current windoze SleepyHead in a new VBox Win 7 install and error message of
api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll missing.

Previous version SH installed just fine but I cannot find that file .....

Any help would be appreciated.

That's a system file and is not installed with Sleepyhead. Sounds like you may have had some file corruption. On my Win 7 box I found it in a directory under C:\windows\winsxs

Even though it is a VM, have you tried sfc /scannow or perhaps fortunate enough to have an older snapshot of the VM?

thanks eplantz. downloaded the .dll and copied it three places. still get an error message 3 times in a row but does seem to work without other difficulties.

Hi Alan. Shiny new VB 7 install inside shiny new VB inside shiny new Mint 17.3.
Was a bad week for me and computers. Won't bore you with the tale except to say I should learn to leave well enough alone! (yeh like dat's gonna happen)

Using Qt 5.5 I ultimately stumbled into a a good build for Mint directory

build-SleepyHeadQT-Desktop_Qt_5_5_1_GCC_64bit-Debug

after finding out the hard way QT 5.6 was NOT going to work - at least not with my limited knowledge.

I now have backup for the backups of the backups

Been really busy but will buy you a beer at Celtic Ray some fine day when I return to Flawduh

not that it matters now but did you install the VC++ runtime in your VB?

Speaking of Punta Gorda, have you ever been to Hurricane Charley's? I've been wanting to go there and now that SB season is over, it should be quiet.

NO and I even saw where I had saved the installer on a USB drive!
Must try that.. no no no markie do not mess with it step away from the puter !!!!!!
