Good Morning Snore Solution Review
This device is advertised on the product website as used for sleep apnea. The product name is  Good Morning Snore Solution. [reference to link removed; just tell folks to Google the product - Moderator]

This device is a small rubber cup that holds your tongue out of your mouth by mans of suction. You place it in between your lips and teeth while holding the outer bulb together when you release it, your tongue is held out my suction.
I tried this devise. It did not work because my tongue is too small so there was no suction.
In addition, the brochure that accompanies the product said not for sleep apnea. (However as I said before, their website said it can be used for sleep apnea.)

This product cost $99.00 plus tax. It said there is a 30 day return. I will return it. I just received it so I cannot comment on their true return policy and whether they actually refund the product.

I would definitely not recommend for sleep apnea. However for snoring, it "may" work.
Buyer beware! Their advertising online is very misleading, actually they outright lie when saying it can be used for sleep apnea. They even have testimonials of people saying it cured their sleep apnea.

RE: Good Morning Snore Solution Review
I am using the tongue retaining device, as a last option before turning to CPAP. After 2 months, I can definitely say it works!

I am one of those who would wake up 20 times a night, gasping for air, sitting up with 5 pillows, and getting maybe 2 hours of sleep every night.

After reading about how the tongue retaining device keeps the tongue lifted during sleep, I thought it made a lot of sense. The one thing it takes getting used to was the initial pain and discomfort. (I ordered mine from Korea and paid $32.00) But after 3-4 days, along with discontinuing the use of my pillow AND not having any food in my stomach for 4 hours before sleep, it has all come together, and I can say right now, I won't be seeing a CPAP machine any time soon!

I don't believe you. Your first post is to say this? Suspect...

RE: Good Morning Snore Solution Review
I used Good Morning Snore Solution for a time before CPAP and it worked for me sometimes. I'll explain why sometimes in a sec.

My tongue was a little too wide to fit into the bulb of the device and also suction could have been better. Finding a happy medium of having too much suction (and having your tongue hurt like crazy) or having too little is a challenge. But when I did find that happy medium, or so I thought, it was a risk that it could fall out in the night. Then my lady would be upset as the snoring persisted.

But when it was on, it seemed to work pretty good. I monitor my sleep noise every night with my ipad and the SnoreLab app.

I had better luck with another Tongue Stabilizing Device (TSD) called AveoTSD. I got this one one ebay, though you can also get it prescribed to you. This worked better for me as it had a larger opening and also extended the tongue further out of your mouth and out of that airway. Again, if I put too much suction on it, it would be painful in the morning. This one actually also gave me sores under my tongue too because of it's design, but over time, I think my tongue just got bruised enough it was resilient to it.

Anyway, these both work for snoring for me in some shape or form and were much better than other cheap devices out there until I used CPAP on advice from my sleep doctor/neurologist.

Edit - also I emailed and requested a return of the GMSS device. They have great customer service. They actually gave me the option to just refund me half the cost if I kept it, or still give me the option to mail it back in for a refund minus shipping cost. (it's shipped to canada so its a bit more expensive) I ended up just keeping it so maybe I'll use it on travel in a crowded room.

It didn't work at all for me. It sounds like a good idea, but like so many good ideas, it didn't work in practice. I could never get used to falling asleep with that thing in my mouth and my tongue sticking out. I didn't pay nearly $99 for it, so I just tossed it and forgot about it. Not worth sending back.
