Single Point Low O2 Data

Single Point Low O2 Data
I get some single point low O2 data with a Wellue O2 ring.  This shows up as the min in Oscar and seems quite low.  When I zoom in, some of it is single point data.  See attachment.  At one point it goes from around 97% to 87% and back to around 97% in about 45 seconds.  I'm starting to wonder is that is even physically possible.  If I put the ring on and hold my breath for 30 seconds, the O2 level doesn't really change.  I can even twist and lift the ring with no affect.  Can single point drops be some kind of data collection issue?  To go down and up in 45 seconds seems improbably to me.

RE: Single Point Low O2 Data
That is called an artifact (bad data reading). It is a result from actions like rapid movement or hitting the sensor. In a Wellue/Viatom oximeter, each point is a 4-second reading. The body acts like a storage battery and the change would not be that pronounced. You need to look at the overall trends when viewing CPAP and oximetry data.
