Long Machine use Sleeping Hours?
#51
RE: Long Machine use Sleeping Hours?
Hello Opal!

Just got up and I am attaching another screen shot for you to look at.... I noticed the lack of leaks in this reading which is good.  But, the OA's are still there in number. Plus, the pressure ramping during apneas.

I set the EPAP to 9.4 last night before going to bed.

I am going to our GP in a couple of weeks for a annual and will ask about oxygen readings as you said.

See what you think.

Thank you again Opal!

Reesche

Opal I have a question for you...

What is the difference between a Obstructive Apnea and a Hypopnea?

RE: Long Machine use Sleeping Hours?
Obstructive Apnea is cessation of breathing for 10 seconds or more with a closed or obscured airway. Hypopnea is a reduction in volume of 50% or more but above total obstruction.

Hi Opal...

Not sure how this forum works but when I send you these nightly attachments to view, sometimes your OPAL link is not there.  So, I just sort through the past pages and choose you Opal to replay.  Does this work?

Anyway, here is last nights report for you to view (11-11-2024)

Thank you!

Reesche

Reesche,

The way this forum works is that any member here that chooses to reply is welcome to do so.

In reality, you should welcome other members opinions even though I have tried to answer the bulk of your questions and quide you.

I personally welcome any member to jump in and evaluate your data and give informative advice. Someone else may have more knowledge or see things differently.

Please don't discard others advice. That's why this forum exists is to learn from each other's experiences.
