RE: Initial Settings On My ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset
Hi merowland01,
Now that you solved your leak problem, I would wait until you get several days of data before changing anything. I believe you need a stable sampling of data before you can really make a decision.
If you feel like you are not getting enough air at the beginning is common with your low starting pressure. Most users need a starting pressure of 7 to 8 to eliminate this feeling.
Good luck with your therapy.
RE: Initial Settings On My ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset
Hi merowland01,
Welcome to Apnea board!
If your 95% pressure is at 12, then your minimum start pressure of 4 is too low to do your much good.
I would suggest raising your minimum pressure up to around 2 to 3cm under your 95% number, which would be about 9 minimum. If you are experiencing a lot of clear airways, move your EPR to 2.
You may need further adjustments, but would like to see more data....like the breakdown of your AHI. If you look at SleepyHead Stats, can you give us the breakdown, like clear airways, obstructives, hypopneas, etc.
Also, after about 4 posts, you can upload a screenshot of your data for us to look at. Use an outside source like Imgur to upload.

I think the above is good advice.

merowland01,
Make one more post in the main forum. Then you can upload a screenshot. Please take a screenshot from the daily page of sleepyhead. Their are many knowledgable folk here that can take a look.
There are way too many clear airways, and it's a possibility you may be on the wrong type machine to treat them.
Here are a couple links to guide you in sending your data.
