Which Machine to get
Which one should I get? Respsironics Dreamstation or Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. I just cannot make up my mind. Has anybody have experience with both ?

RE: Which Machine to get
Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset. Unequivocal choice. Better response to apnea events before they are allowed to occur and up to a real 3-cm true bilevel pressure difference between inhale and exhale. I can't tell you how many times new members come to this forum, and I could only wish they had the Resmed to resolve their persistent hypopnea, RERA and flow limitation. Don't even think twice, the answer is obvious.

RE: Which Machine to get
I'm new to all of this. My sleep doc ordered a ResMed AirSense AutoSet 10 for me. I've been very happy with mine.
Good thing he did, cause I wouldn't have had a clue as to what to get.

Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset
The only reason not to would be if you have a PR machine and you are getting good, no strike that, very excellent results and you like it.

RE: Which Machine to get
I own both brands. They are both good machines but, in my opinion, the ReMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is the best machine. It is my daily driver while the Respironics machine has been relegated to backup duty. The ResMed is easier to dial in and, for me, much more effective and comfortable.

RE: Which Machine to get
I started on a Remstar CPAP (2015) and more recently I've had a PR DreamStation BiPAP (2017) and my current ResMed ASV (2018). Obviously, this isn't an exact apples to apples comparison, as these represent different therapy needs. Regardless of the various differences, I'd still choose ResMed for the better event response.
