ResMed 11 Smartstop flagged as Large Leak

I turned on the SmartStop function on my ResMed 11.  It seems when I use it that OSCAR flags it as a Large Leak. Is this normal? If so, I will probably stop using the SmartStop (which is no big deal for me). But it may be I have something set wrong somewhere.

Sorry if this has been discussed before; I could not find a reference using the search function.

yes it's normal, mine does it too. having the mask off is a very large leak after all. it's the machine that flag all events, oscar just displays the info your machine detected so that's how resmed decided to flag it.

why do you care if for 30s you have a large leak while taking the mask off? it will barely affect your stats. anyways i turned it off because the noise was annoying above anything else. i left smartstart on though, just incase of a power cut.

Thanks. I think I'll just turn it off. I agree, the noise is annoying.

I like SmartStart. I get up in the night to go to the toilet, and SmartStart is the easiest way to get back to bed and back to sleep quickly.

idk i prefer hitting the button and not trying to breathe through a straw for 2 breaths to start the machine and give it time to ramp up above 4cm so it starts pushing air.
