Help with optimizing full face mask settings.

Help with optimizing full face mask settings.
Hello all,

I hope everyone is good.

I have been using CPAP since Sep 2020.

I was diagnosed via sleep study with severe apnea (AHI of approx. 60).
Using Resmed Airsense 10.

The settings on machine are:
Mode: Autoset
Mask: Nasal
Response: Standard
Ramp Time: Auto
Start Pressure: 5
EPR: on
EPR type : Full time
EPR level: 3
Climate Control: Auto
Tube Temp: Auto

I recently switched from nasal P30i to full face F20. In spite of an increase in AHI I am feeling much better, less tired etc.
I increased pressure from min 7.4, max 14 to min 8.6, max 16.
Attached Oscar graph shows typical night with full face mask.
With the full face mask leak has dropped from approx. 10 to less than 5. AHI has increased from less than 1 to approx. 2.5.

I would appreciate if people could review my graph and advise on ways to optimize.
It looks like I regularly hit the max pressure of 16. Does this mean I need to increase max pressure?
Are there any other settings that might help to reduce AHI.

Thank you for reading this and for all of the help and support offered by this forum.

RE: Help with optimizing full face mask settings.
I'm definitely far from an expert but since nobody else has chimed in yet I'd say that your OA clusters seem indicative of Positional Apnea. This happens when you sleep on your back and your pillow causes your chin to tuck down which blocks your airway. If you have a large and/or firm pillow you can try switching to a softer and/or lower-profile pillow and a soft cervical collar may help as well. More details here: https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...onal_Apnea

Also, your flow limits P99.5 seem extremely high but the way your have OSCAR set up right now means that the graph is not included in your screenshot so I can't draw any insights from it. Please follow this guide for your future screenshots: https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...ganization
