Resmed S9 Questions
Hi, I have the S9 Autoset and have been using it for over a year at this point.
I use it with a humidifer and it has brought my AHI from 63 down to 0.5 an hour.
Back in January I used the s9 with the humidifer on overnight flight from Singapore to Sydney for a few hours and have found it to have a loud air induction noise ever since.
Whereas before I could have the s9 on top of the bedside cupboard; I now need to keep it in a drawer to minimize the noise of the air intake.
Is there anything that is servicable within the machine? and/or are there any places that I could take the machine to so it can be checked/serviced?
Have been considering getting a new machine as well but just thought I would check here first about servicing.
Thanks

Hi melancholykeith,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
You might talk to the place where you got the machine and see what they have to say.
Hope you get it working.
Hang in there for more suggestions and much success to you.

RE: Resmed S9 Questions
Water damage may not be your problem in this case, but for future reference the manuals for these machines clearly state do not use a humidifier with water in it when flying on an airplane due to the high probability that water can be sloshed during in-flight turbulence and can get into the blower resulting in damage to the machine. So not a good idea to be using any water in the humidifier during a flight.
