I changed hoses last night and forgot to switch the setting off slim
line to regular. All night I couldn't get into a breathing rhythm and had the most events ever. Do you think my sleep was off because I did not change the hose setting?

RE: last night
I did a little test with my S9 elite and it was harder to get the breathing down for me as well without changing the settings for the correct hose. I would say it is changing the air volume just enough to mess with us. Changing the setting must tell the machine to change something about how it delivers the air.

RE: last night
My guess is that the designers figured in an average pressure drop encountered by the air getting to the mask so that the machine could make up for that and give you the correct pressure. Changing the hose size length or design changes the pressure drop and would change the pressure at your mask unless there was a way to adjust the machine for the change - like a hose type setting. Just my opinion.

RE: last night
Hi readyforsleep,
Since there are settings for different hose sizes, it's probably better to change them for more comfortable sleep, just to be on the safe side. Better luck tonight.
