no humidity Phillips Respironics remstar se
Hello.
I'm new to the cpap thingy. Just got a new Phillips Respironics remstar se. with heated humidifier. I have read the manual.
I have it set humidity to "system1" and 5. I get no humidification.
I tried "classic" and a setting of 5, as well as a setting of 1, and no
humidity. so you can imagine. My nasal passages are quite irritated
in the morning. My heat for the humidifier is set to 1.
Any idea why I'm not getting any humidity? my water chamber remains full every morning.
thanks

That unit can be separated from the humidifier. So, unplug power; separate units; reattach humidifier; power up; and try again.
It's a check to make sure the humidifier is properly mated to the blower unit; and a "reboot" of the blower unit processor.
Failing at that; it's likely something is defective.

If the settings are correct, and the humidifier heating plate never gets warm, you got a bad unit. It is under warranty, so replace it.
