Sending data to an AI engine

Sending data to an AI engine
I think it would be fun to ask Chat GPT to interpret the settings and data. I do it manually now, and it seems quite rational.

Does the app allow plug-ins to be written? Is anyone looking at this? I'm a retired C# programmer, so I might be able to help

Sorry, talking about OSCAR

Hi lynndemarest!  -  Welcome
Since your post is about software, I moved it to the Software Support Forum.

As far as AI, I believe it is too immature to use at this time.  That is just my opinion.  I've played with different scenarios and several have come out in left field.

RE: Sending data to an AI engine
What would really be helpful is an AI to create an interpretation of the raw data.
Does the OSCAR software interpret the data in an effort to identify apnea events, or does the data itself include markers?

AI may not be ready now, but it will be in a year or two, and it will be great to have the ability already in the code.

Finally, ChatGPT has proved to be helpful even in its current hallucinating versions. I imagine the same could be true for its integration into OSCAR. Users would learn to ignore whacky interpretations, maybe. Or at least they could be warned, a la ChatGPT itself.

peace

No, OSCAR does not interpret any data.  It only reports the data provided by the CPAP.   This was done to maintain its credibility factor.  If you start providing observations or interpellations not generated by the CPAP, then extensive testing and resultant data would have to be furnished for verification.  This would also hold true for any AI add-ins.

We believe that AI should remain between the ears.
