Sharp Increase in Min Tidal Vol, Vent & Resp Rate?

Sharp Increase in Min Tidal Vol, Vent & Resp Rate?
After surgery on Sept 8th, I have noticed a sharp increase in Min Tidal Volume, Min Minute Vent and Min Resp Rate, maybe 4 to 10X.   The 99.5%, 95% and median numbers have not changed drastically.

What does this mean physically?  Do those min numbers represent deep or REM sleep?  Does this suggest a reduction in REM?  I feel groggy.

The dark area at the bottom of the bars represents the min numbers.
