Is there a (first generation) DS2 recall? (got another DS2 in the mail :)

I had a DS1, I got a DS2 in 2022 as part of the recall. Two days ago, I got a box delivered to my home and it contained a splinter new DS2 and instruction to send back my old CPAP machine.

Did I miss an announcement that first generation DS2s are also being recalled? Or did Philips go on a recalling spree and lost track of who got a DS2 already?

For the record, I think DS2 is an awesome machine. I tried that and the Airsense 10, and I cannot clearly say that one is superior to the other. They both seem to work great.

Dreamstation 2 devices are not affected by recall. I think you are being double-counted somehow. https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread...-ONE-USERS

Most likely they made a mistake.  Just keep it.  I read that lots of folks did not bother returning their DS1 machines, some wanting to keep them as evidence in case they later became sick.  Some just threw their old machine away.  It's great to have a backup machine.
