[CPAP] AirFit P10 clip leaving marks

AirFit P10 clip leaving marks
HI - I have been using the AirFit P10 for her nasal pillows since end of Oct 2022.  I bought the mask strap covers to minimize the marks, but I am a side sleeper and the pressure I guess still has the rigid clip still causing issues.  I have acne scars on my cheeks and it looks like they are getting worse.  Any ideas - the nasal pillows are great - I have tried the other masks and this is the one for me just hate if it makes my scars worse.

Thanks

RE: AirFit P10 clip leaving marks
The original Resmed Airfit P10 headgear did not have the adjustment, and had the problem of stretching out. Eventually Resmed added a small clip that let the headstraps be shortened, but that style had no hard material in contact with your face. Finally, Resmed began selling the Airfit N20 headgear with the adjustment you don't like and phased out the original P10 headgear.

You can still find these original straps by Searching for "Resmed Airfit P10 Original Headgear" on Amazon or Ebay. The straps range from original Resmed brand straps with an individual price of $18.99 each on Ebay and the same price for 3-straps from an aftermarket provider on Amazon. I can't link to these because they are "components of prescription required items", but if you have problems finding the original straps, post back and I'll try to help.

These are very easy to identify because the have no adjustment on the strap. On Ebay search "Universal ResMed Headgear Original QuickFit for AirFit P10 Series CPAP Masks". Also look for "3 Pack Replacement Headgear strap for ResMed Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask" This is an aftermarket 3-pack for $16.99. Finally, look for "Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow System replacement headgear for her Purple/Gray" at $16.99

RE: AirFit P10 clip leaving marks
Are you meaning the adjustment thing on the headgear? That doesn't come anywhere near my cheek. I do have it set on the side that I don't side-sleep on, so my head doesn't feel it.

Are you meaning the plastic arms that the headgear slides over? Those plastic arms dig into my face, and leave a dent in my cheeks for many hours after I wake up. I don't know any way around that. P10 is my fav mask, so I just deal with the imprints in my cheeks. I do have to adjust where the plastic arms are going across my face when I'm in bed, so it doesn't bother my upper teeth line & jaw.
