Alternate Method for Toshiba FlashAir Wifi LAN Card W-02 Downloads
I had tried a few times to get my version of the Toshiba Flashair card to work. I had gotten the version W-02 on eBay because it was only $25 at the time and supposedly it would work with the two wifi download apps that would transfer the data to your computer for you.
Neither of those two apps worked with my card. Nor did two other kinds of software attempts worked for the W-02 I had.
There are more than just that amount of apps that will let you work with flashair cards, but they are for the W-03 and W-04 versions.
So, I was able to get two things to partially work;
The tfatool but I would have to run it a few times to get all of the files needed. Not a great solution. Required setting up Python.
Also, the default browsing tool would allow me to download each file one at a time. Not a great solution as well. Too time consuming.
The thing that seems to work best so far was the gem I found in Chrome Apps;
Yokin's Flashair Sync.
I installed that Addon for Google and then to Launch it easily, I added Chrome Webstore Launcher by Google.
To make this work with Sleepyhead I had to use an extra SD Card of which I just happened to have a 2GB. I copied over all the P-Series folder data from the original CPAP machine SD Card to both the new Toshiba Card and the spare SD Card I had.
I put the Toshiba card into the CPAP machine and the spare into my computer.
I point sleepyhead to the local sd card and Yokins Sync to the toshiba card.
I download all the data via Yokins sync to the local SD card. I then run sleepyhead which imports from the local SD.
That works. I hope this helps someone figure out the W-02 card they were having issues with or are able to pull that card back out and actually use it now.
Be sure to follow all the safe practices when handling SD cards that have been mentioned pretty much in a hundred posts concerning these topics.
