RE: Old hose-heads: How Often?
I'm pretty sure I might be the only one here who has had the following experience? I started treatment about 5 months ago. My sleep doc/neurologist was so helpful especially in the first month or so when I was having so many issues even with basic stuff like the mask, etc.
He saw me a few times in that period to check the machine out, see that I was doing ok and all that.
He always answered any email to clarify things and I've seen almost monthly since. Bottom line: It took me about 4 months to feel any improvement with my daytime tiredness/headaches, etc.
But, finally, in the past couple of weeks I've felt great upon wakening every single day all the way til it's time to go to beddy-bye again! Haven't felt this good in soooooooooo long.
Since I don't use software like Sleepyhead, I'm basically judging my treatment according to how I feel each day. And I feel great.
I feel indebted to my doctor who gave me a lot of time at each visit till this terrible daily tiredness
was resolved. And, hopefully, these past 2 weeks of felling refreshed every day is a good sign that the treatment has finally taken hold.
Last week, he had me do an overnight, at home, oxymetry thing. Have yet to hear the results.
Than you.
