SleepyHead and EncoreBasic
I have been using SleepyHead and EncoreBasic for some time now, and comparing their respective reports and graphs.
My conclusion is:.....
Both software packages have strengths and weaknesses. In fact I use both to monitor my therapy. It will be interesting to get the thoughts of the specialist.
The reports give substantially the same values for AHI,HI,CAI, OAI and VS. My CPAP machine does not report values less than 1.0, but by using both packages I can get most of the information I want.
So I would recommend the use of both.

Usually they've never heard of SleepyHead, or if they have they've never used it.

I have just seen my specialist for a 6 month review. He knows about Sleepyhead, likes it, uses it privately, and KEPT my reports for his file.
I guess that some specialists are really enlightened!

Yes. I think only the insecure ones would be threatened by our having Sleepyhead reports. And if they're that insecure, perhaps a job change would be their best course of action. Sounds like you have a good specialist. You might want to nail his foot to the floor so he can't get away..
