RE: Spy Car Bill's (Hopefully) Excellent ASV Adventure
Finally, some really good news to report. Last night I slept!!!
It may not have been the perfect night's sleep for some people, but it was the most refreshing night's sleep I've had in memory.
The brain fog has lifted. I'm going like gangbusters working on my garden and I'm feeling well (after feeling pretty crippled with fatigue).
I must admit that I was starting to get worried that the high hopes I'd put on the ASV were not going to pan out. But the machine and I (and the settings and mask) are all falling into sync and I feel human today.
I better stop as tears of joy are starting to well up.
Thank you so much for all the help and support!!!
Bill

Congratulations! With the success on ASV..
I was just thinking how rested I was feeling this morning with an AHI 27.44 on SleepyHead. MAKES me wonder what an AHI 1.46 would feel like

Well, you know, I've had plenty of nights with low AHIs...but I didn't sleep. Or at least didn't have refreshing sleep. I'd take feeling rested over low AHIs any time. My numbers have never been really especially poor. But the quality of my sleep has been very bad.
What a difference to get refreshing sleep!!!!

I'm coming alive Dave. If the very short trend continues I'll be so happy.

Finally, huh?
Good job. I know it's take a lot of work.

Patience grasshopper! It was bound to come. I'm very glad you found some good rest and hope you will continue to experience the rewards of your hard work. It's important to give this therapy time.

Master, I'm willing to give this therapy all the time I have remaining on earth.
I can't tell you how long it's been since I felt I'd had a night with refreshing sleep. And how destructive that has been to my mind and body.
I've felt alive the last two days. Deep restorative sleep. I'm so grateful to you. I hope you know that!

RE: Spy Car Bill's (Hopefully) Excellent ASV Adventure
After the deeply restorative sleep of the night previous (which was miraculous for me) last night was only fair.
I slept, no insomnia. The machine and I are not struggling. But it wasn't a night of nirvana.
I'm willing to either sit tight or to make moves if the charts suggest a modification.

Practice what Mr. Miyagi of the Karate Kid may have said "breathe in; breathe out" instead of the more famous "wax on, wax off" line.
