Strange dry mouth patterns
Now I'm having a strange pattern of dry mouth symptoms recently (over the past several months). I'd wake up with a dry mouth, but only the outer parts of my mouth, from the outer side of my teeth to the mouth wall, would be dry; while the central parths of my mouth would remain moist, from the inner side of my teeth and the tongue. Also I'd find this is more of an issue when I sleep on one side rather than the other: I'd find if I sleep slightly angled towards the left, it happens; but if I sleep angled towards the right, not so much. My dentist has said that I have a slight overbite, so I wonder if this has something to do with it too?

RE: Strange dry mouth patterns
Sounds like your jaw/mouth is dropping open and allowing air to escape. I can't explain the "strange pattern of the dry mouth", but I agree it may just be related to the position you're sleeping.
You can use a soft cervical collar to help with the jaw drop. Or if sleeping in a particular position helps to eliminate the problem, that may be easiest. Post an OSCAR daily chart, so we can take a look at the leak rate chart.
