Teeth grinding and jaw clenching

Teeth grinding and jaw clenching
What is everyone’s experience with jaw clenching and teeth grinding improving after starting therapy?
I’m hoping mine will improve once I get going on my machine!

One of the features of Apnea Board is the "Possibly Related Threads" when you start a new thread. It looks like you got some relevant posts under this thread. Bruxism is pretty common, and it sometimes is relieved with CPAP. If not, a thin dental device might help.

RE: Teeth grinding and jaw clenching
I did not have it (jaw clenching) until after using APAP for several months. Although no way to know if the two are related or not; my guess is no. I had to have my dentist make a night guard, but later found out that I need to use nearly 24x7.

RE: Teeth grinding and jaw clenching
Bruxism is usually caused by nasal congestion or just not being in deep enough sleep.  It's usually related to reflux too.  Stress could also cause bruxism.  So bad gut health could lead to reflux which then irritates the nasal passages and causes them to close up causing poor sleep and bruxism.
