One of my biggest fears about CPAP use is if I ever travel by plane far enough that I'll need to sleep. How to plug it in, how to keep my mouth closed so I don't snore and get tossed out the door, and how to not look like a dork.
But the chance of me ever getting to go on a trip that long is slim to none. LOL

Provided you have seat power, you're all set. For the rest of it, use a travel neck-pillow or soft cervical collar to be more comfortable, keep your mouth closed and prevent snoring. As far as looking like a dork, just consider yourself in good company with the rest of the passengers sitting around for over 12-18 hours. From personal experience, long overseas flights make you a lot less self-conscious.

Yep, overly cautious. When you can't get distilled, use any water that you can drink. My neighbor has traveled to many foreign countries in the last 10 years and hasn't really had a problem. If you get too much build up, just ask for a little vinegar, lemon juice or pickling juice. Just explain that you are looking for something acidic to get rid of mineral deposits. You only need a little on the bottom of your machine. Just make sure that whatever they give you is something you can safely consume.
