Feeling Lost - Started Therapy 10/21/24
I started therapy 10/21/24 after being diagnosed with the below.
Attached diagnosis, but adding here just incase:
- Obstructive Sleep Apnea (G47.33) - Moderate based on pAHIo=26.7 and O2 nadir of 77%
- Central Sleep Apnea (G47.31) - Mild based on pAHIc=7.7
And here are 2 of my most recent days:
I'm getting very high CA which I'm assuming is treatment-emergent CA, but then again my graphs do not look good.
Also, I'm still getting used to wearing the mask all night, but this is usually how long I can use it for before taking it off.
- Am I off-track on therapy?
- What do y'all recommend I do?
- Should I be looking at getting a BiPAP machine instead?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
RE: Feeling Lost - Started Therapy 10/21/24
When you first start you can get treatment emergent centrals. One of the larger reason is EPR 3. For a night I would turn off the EPR and see if that makes much of a different. If it does you can start introducing EPR in a couple weeks to 1 and then a couple more weeks 2 and so on until you get it to EPR3..

Hello there. I first started off with EPR 1 but then went to EPR 3 (for the past 11 nights). I'll switch to to EPR 2 and see how it goes. Thanks.
