Data cards

Data cards
Hi, I'm Rod from Australia, I have a ResMed S8 Auto-Set Spirit 11. I am unable to get data downloads anymore from the Cpap companies as they my machine is too old. It is a great machine and works perfectly, was wondering would any of the Res Scan cards for later machines fit into my machine so I can download the data myself, and use the software available on this site to digest. I don't want to be forced into buying a new machine because they don't wish to read my data.

RE: Data cards
I think the S9, and I know the S10 & S11 use a standard SD card.

S10 SD card Max is 32 GB, and 11 is 128 GB. Not sure on S9. Certainly no data from me on the 8 series.

RE: Data cards
the newer machines use a standard sd card, not some kind of res scan card. is the card in your 8 a regular sd card or something different?

RE: Data cards
I have since found a ResMed ResScan card in another S8 I purchased a few years ago for a backup. I put the card into my machine , then into the computer after downloading the Res Scan 5.9 software. But I can't get anything out of it. I will check on this forum to find any ideas. Thanks for your help so far.

RE: Data cards
Have you downloaded Oscar, our free apnea reporting program? With it, you can create wonderfully useful charts that report loads of information on each night's sleep. You can then post the charts here and we can tell you how your sleep is going.

At the top of each page, Oscar is in the black ribbon.
