DreamStation Error 01509
The lightly-used DreamStation I got from my DME has worked OK since last August. However, last night, it stopped 3 times. The first two, it auto-restarted after I exhaled a few times (I have it on auto-start). The third time, it was dead, with the error "201904-01509" and "Service Required". (This is from memory, but I think it's accurate.)
I power-cycled the machine and it came up OK (including turning on the blower), but I'm wondering if this indicates something I should follow up, or worry about impending failure?
(I have crappy, inconsistent insurance, so I'm reluctant to start by calling my provider, because it could turn into a $500 bill for them to tell me "turn it off and then turn it on again." So if I can figure it out on my own, that's much better.)
Also, I found a copy of the Philips DreamStation Service & Technical Reference Manual online. I'm not sure whether it's in this forum's database of manuals, but if not, I can email a copy to somebody to put it there.
Thanks!
RE: DreamStation Error 01509
The forum has the 2018 Dreamstation Service Manual in linked from the Private Files section (available to members). If you have a more recent version you can send a PM to Supersleeper and he may want to make it available to members. The Error Codes are E-### and the one you posted is not in that format or the manual. If the machine continues to error, check if the device is under warranty by your supplier. If the error is in breathing detection then you might try turning off auto-start. If not, then you certainly should not pay $500 to repair. You can probably find a lower priced replacement on your local Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Offer-up or other alternative.

That's more recent than the one I found (no. 1117539, ver. 07, 06/04/2016). I'll have to request the newer one!

No need to request. Go to private files and links forum and follow the link in the sticky thread for Links to Members Only Files.
