[Treatment] Two year review of my CPAP settings and Oscar data please.

Two year review of my CPAP settings and Oscar data please.
Hi all,

Just wanted to get a review on current settings and treatment. Been going two years now and using every night for 7 hours ish, so no issues there. I have had bloating issues which I think has been causing some day time panic attacks/anxiety with the vagus nerve, as I have a hiatus hernia so I think the bloating is irritating it. Also notice the AHI seems to last an hour which is wierd or I may be reading the chart wrong.

Any insight would be apprecited. Cheers.

I don't know if this is a typical night for you, but it looks pretty decent.

What I do see is some Flow Limitation and also the mention of "bloating" which means you may be swallowing air.  This is called Aerophagia.

The Flow Limitations will drive the pressure up higher than necessary and that may he causing the bloating.

Using EPR will help with both those situations.

First, turn off the ramp setting.  Then try narrowing your pressure range.
Try a setting of 8 min - 15 maximum.  Set EPR to 2 and see how it goes for a few days.

Thanks OpalRose, I'll give those settings a try for a few days and see how we go.

Your AHI chart showing a value for an hour is because OSCAR charts it as a trailing hourly average. If you had one event in the past hour, it will chart a value of 1, then go to zero if you have no more events. If you had 2 events 30 minutes apart, at 0:00 it would show 1, at 0:30 to 1:00 it would show 2, then at 1:00 to 1:30 it would show 1, then drop to zero. It is simply a moving average within a 1 hour window.
