RE: Everything seems so random...
Okay I see you have other threads you should be keeping your information all in one thread.
Sorry I didn't realize you were getting help from others I don't want to get involved and get you all confused. We need a monitor to combine your threads.

RE: leonardocolato - OSCAR analysis
leonardocolato - Several of your threads were related to your therapy. For this reason, I have merged them. This provides the reader a history of your past settings and results. Having the ability to see past attempts and their results will help to form better recommendations. Please use this thread for all your therapy related posts. I have changed the thread title to, "leonardocolato - OSCAR analysis" to be more inclusive.

I've started with a 9 cm pressure, then 9.6 cm, all with EPR on 2 (ramp time only – 40 min). I was having a lot of hypoapneas and CAs with these settings. The obstructive apneas were higher than now too. Then, with the help of the members here on the forum, I've increased my pressure to 10.4 cm, set EPR to 3 and turned off the ramp. Also, I started to use a flatter pillow and a cervical collar. I noticed the hypoapneas got really better, and the obstructive ones a little bit. The CAs look the same.

Soon I'll have a sleep study, then I'll ask them to record me so I can see in which position I sleep and if I do any chin tucking. If they don't record it, I'll do it myself at home, for sure. But if I sleep on my back some times, i just wonder how I'm going to change it maybe a special pillow or a physiotherapist could help... |
