How many years have you used an Xpap machine?

RE: How many years have you used an Xpap machine?
I have killed many a machine R.I.P.  Some served me well, others didn't last very long.
One only lasted one night, I tell a lie, it died in the first three hours and never saw life again.
I have been on XPAP for over a third of my life Shock
Dreaming  Dreaming of the day I don't need it, they will have to put a machine with me to the afterlife if there is such a thing!
I am NOT a doctor.  I try to help, but do not take what I say as medical advice.

Every journey, however large or small starts with the first step.

RE: How many years have you used an Xpap machine?
I called my overall xPAP time as 1-2 year time frame. This spans from initial diagnosis in the Spring of 2015 to now, but I'm disregarding all of '16 as being xPAP untreated. And of course there was the on and off treatment while transitioning from BPAP to ASV. This amount of time saw me on a total of 4 machines, PR Remstar CPAP something or other, PR DreamStation Auto BiPAP, and then 2 ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV Auto units (first supposedly had a bad hour counter according to the RT).

Just over 2 years, disregarding the time I initially started, on and off, at the end of 2015. I can hardly believe it has been this long. CPAP now seems like second nature and what a difference it has made to my quality of life.
