Using Both Medium AND Large Mask

Hi. I was originally using a medium-size Amara View mask. After a while, I switched to a large. I don't know why the following happens, but.....When I'm, let's say, having a bad leak problem from the get-go on my usual large mask and can't get it right and get so fed up, I switch to the medium and all is well! And vice versa, from the medium to the large when the same thing occurs. It works every time and I'm always very pleased, Just not sure why.
