Read Virtuox Data
Hi- Im interested in getting a used Virtuox wrist spo2 monitor ( Virtuox Ultra) . Does anyone know if this can be uploaded to Oscar?
I see that they tell clinicians to simply log into their online data repository to read uploaded data. That is an expensive paid service. Im interested to know if there in another easy way to offload the data from the wrist and read/ maintain data?
Many thanks
RE: Read Virtuox Data
Hi Sonno! - :welcome;
Your oximeter is a rebranded CMS-50F. There are 2 two software packages for your device. The correct one depends on your firmware's revision number.
The older version is SpO2 Assistant v3.0. It is the one to use when the firmware listed, v3.7. The newer one is Smart Device Assistant 3.1.0.1. It is now used with the latter revision, 2.9. Why the revision numbers decrease as the firmware gets newer is anyone's speculation. The latter software may work with both versions, but there aren't any reports of this being tested. Both produce a raw data file that uses ".SpO2" as its file extension. These files may be imported directly into OSCAR, if they aren't in their default directory. Whoever wrote the code for the file storage procedure configured the directory permission levels, so OSCAR is unable to read them from that location. You will need to change the storage location to somewhere like your "Documents" folder as a workaround.
Good luck!
