installing ReScan
I am usiing Windows 10, 64 bits home edition on a MEDION laptop having usb and CD/DVD access
I want to install ReScan software
I noticed that there are optional drivers for USB and Cardreader but my RESMED machine does not have those .
I do have a external cardreader that connects to the USB port of my laptop.
So I hoped that ReScan was probing the connected drives for the specific CPAP-data.
I installed ReScan and skipped the 3 drivers during installation.
When I started ReScan it gave a message "virtual call" and stopped.
Do I need to have a Cardreader specific for ResMed airsense 10 machine?
RE: installing ReScan
No, your card reader is fine. Your computer is missing a file, and somebody else will give you tips on where to find it.
They might need to know the name of missing procedure, if Windows told you...

RE: installing ReScan
I have done all this:
- change compatible mode to windows 8; did not work
- installed C++ redistributable 2017 both x64 and x86 versions: did not work
my system info now show C++ redistributables 2005,2008;2010;2012;2013;2017
looks like C++ library is up to date and still "pure virtual function call"
what else can I try?
RE: installing ReScan
Try C++ 2015. I believe that is the version ResScan was built with. Also, Try Win7, Win8 had its quirks.

RE: installing ReScan
I tried C++ 2015 but got a message "failed, cannot install when a newer version is installed" .
And the other advice didnot work either.
I had sleepyHead verry first edition and was not happy with that edition but could not find a newer version.
Until recent I found out that OSCAR is the new edition.
I downloaded and installed and it is running without problems.
So I give up trying to get ReScan running.
Thanks for all your advice.
