Vivaer nasal treatment.
Been considering the Vivaer nasal treatment. I have always suffered from congestion and noisy nose breathing even when not congested.
It was really bad when I was first put on CPAP in 1997. The resperonics folks figured a pan of unheated water was good for humidifying the unheated air. What a painful, stuffy and bloody time for my nose back then. YIKES!
Anyway, I have a decision to make. My FL's since returning to CPAP in Oct 24 have been as follows. 95% since Oct are a reasonable but just over normal .06. The 99% have been avg over .20.
But I have been getting used to my treatment and the AHI's are doing very well.
SO, Was wondering if any folks on the forum have had this procedure done.
The risks are low as it is a non-surgical treatment and done in office. Might have to be off the CPAP for a short time though.
As my overall numbers are doing good. I'm Just a bit unsure if moving forward with that treatment is worth while.
Thoughts?
