Waking up after roughly 1.5-3 hours
I am new to CPAP. I have a resmed airsense 10. I use a full face mask. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea at 7.5 AHI.
I consistently wake up 1.5-3 hours after falling asleep, the following charts will be the longest
I have ever been able to sleep with CPAP at nearly 4 hours. When I wake up I am very tired
but no longer sleepy and am typically unable to fall asleep.
This has been going on for a couple months now, leaving my typically less well-rested than without CPAP.

At this point I am unable to fulfill the bare minimum usage hours required by my insurance, so I 
need to get a handle on it quickly. Could someone take a look at my OSCAR charts?

You'll need to include that OSCAR left panel data to help put it in context.

It appears you are not using EPR (no left column) and your Flow Limits are quite large.  We use EPR to limit flow limits.  I would suggest you turn on EPR to full time and set EPR to 3.  Also you had a little bit of positional apnea when the pressures went to the max.  You need to check on that.

.  Positional apnea can NOT be controlled by pressure changes.  You have to find out what position you are getting into and cutting off your own airway.  Have you changed your sleep position?  Sleeping on your back?  Using more (or new) pillows?  These things can cause positional apnea by chin dropping to your sternum and cutting your airway.  Think of it of a kinked hose – nothing can get through – you have to unkink the hose…

IF you can’t make a simple change like changing to a flatter pillow helps then you will need a collar.  I have a link to collars in my signature at the bottom of the page.  It shows people who are not wearing a collar and the SAME person wearing a collar.  There is a huge difference between the two.

I naturally sleep on my back. I have slept occasionally without any pillow at all but not noticed much difference when doing so.

You'll probably want to edit the pressure range to 7-10 maybe a bit higher on the max.

You'll want to add EPR 3 full time.

I'd consider removing the Ramp.

And you might need standard response instead of soft.

Try to stay on your machine at least four hours a night, even if you are awake.  That will fulfill your required use.  If you simply cannot keep your mask on through the night, try masking up and wearing your machine while you watch TV or read.  It will help you get a little used to how it feels and will help you comply with the needed usage.

And do follow Stacey and Dave's advice.  Their suggested changes may well make you better able to sleep with your machine, and that will naturally fulfill your compliance issue.  Smile

The CPAP get up takes a lot of getting used to IMO. There’s also a high “developing a habit” component for the first while. After you get your settings situated using advice ^^^, yes, make sure you use the unit for 4 hours every 24 hours. Make sure the unit says you have passed the 4-hour threshold. At first, you may have to override your every inclination to throw off the mask. If you get too much awake, take a bit of a break by reading a book or something, then get masked up and turn your unit on.
It looks like your settings aren't doing you any favors. They could be making you gasp for air. This might indeed make you rip your mask off. So, yep, follow settings directions.

I adjusted with +3 on min and max pressure, and epr 3 fulltime(this should cancel out pressure-wise, no?).
I did not touch ramp or response yet because I do not want to change too many variables at once.

Experience not much different, see results for tuesday and wednesday. I notice there are still flow limit peaks.
